I Know It Isn't A Ring But... (PrussiaxReader)

You smiled as you cooked a very special supper for your long time boyfriend Gilbert. It was Christmas also their 5 year anniversary and the day he came home from his business trip to France. Once you had supper finished you ran into the living room to wait not being able to contain your excitement you accidently knocked down a picture. You picked it up and looked at it, it was a picture of the day you first met him. A picture that your friend Alfred had given her. You had been so furious at Alfred that day for taking that picture, but now when you thought about it you wouldn't have had it any other way.
~Flashback of five years~
    "Alfred I allowed you to drag me to this party, I'm not letting you force me to play a game in which I will be forced into a small space with a stranger."
    "But (name) if you get me then you won't be in there with a stranger."
    "If I get you Alfred I'm going to break your face for making me come to this stupid party. I don't know anyone here but you!"
    "That was the point. You need more friends!"
    "Alfred if I wanted more friends I-" You were cut off by him pushing you into a closet with another person of whom you didn't know.
    "I swear when I get out of here I'm going to kill that American."
    A strange laughing sound emitted from the other being in the closet. You simply ignored everything that came after that not in the mood to talk to him.

    Seven minutes later Alfred opened the door to you and the other person pulled close together kissing. Not wanting to miss an opportunity he quickly stole a poor Japanese man's camera and took a picture of you two. What had happened in those seven minutes? Not one thing, except you counting out the seconds till you got out of there. When you had reached  six minutes thirty seconds you had moved to leave but tripped and the man had taken him chance to catch you and your lips holding you close so you couldn't escape. Since then the albino 'kidnapped' you and took you on many dates waiting for you to finally open up to him. When you asked why, he would always say "Once the most beautiful girl in the world kisses you in a closet in one of your friends houses you'll understand." This would cause you to blush and say that you had tripped and didn't want to kiss him that day. He would just laughed that strange laugh and respond, "Ja, but I know you want to kiss me now." Then he would pull you into his arms and kiss you.

You anxiously stared at the clock awaiting your lovers return. He had been gone to long.
Riiiiiiiiiing Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing.
Your phone had sounded you quickly answered it. "Hello."
"Hallo Mein Kleine Vogel!" Your Prussian responded.
"Gilbert! I was just thinking about you. When are you getting home."
"Ja... about zhat.. I don't zhink I can make it..."
"What.... What do you mean?" You asked trying not to let the disappointment show in your voice.
"It's snowing badly over here and my flight was delayed until tomorrow. I'm sorry."
You sighed sadly. "I-I understand."
"Hey, don't be sad. We can Skype each other I know it won't be the same but at least zhe awesome me vill get to see you."
You giggled a little. his narcissism had always cheered you up for some reason. "Okay. I'll be on in a second. See you soon."

You ran upstairs to the room you shared with him, quickly moving to your desk and sitting in the chair. As you turned you computer on you felt two arms wrap around you. You turned around only to be pulled into a tight hug and spun around.
"G-Gilbert!"
He laughed and kissed you "Ja, it's me."
"H-How... How did you..." He silenced you with another kiss.
"Don't worry about it Mein Liebe." He set you down and got down on one knee fishing something out of his pocket. "Five years ago you kissed the awesome me in a closet at my friends house-"
"I tripped!"
"Shh, I wasn't done. Anyvays, you purposely tripped and kissed me. I was overjoyed the next week when you agreed to go on a date with me-"
"You came to my house, threw me over your shoulder, and forced me!"
"Continuing. I have been so lucky to have the most beautiful, awesomest, girlfriend in the vorld zhat I decided zhat today she vould become my vife."
You bent to his level smiling like crazy, "I didn't agree on those other times what in the world makes you think I'll agree to that?"
"Vell zhis time I just happen to know you vant to kiss me and be mine forever." He said smiling.
You kissed him, "Well this time you just happen to be right."
He laughed and pulled out his iron cross necklace that he never took off or let anyone touch, "I know it isn't a necklace but-" YOu could tell he was a bit ashamed.
You interrupted him with a kiss. "It's perfect."
